SalliPets is a small, independent dog rescue dedicated to finding safe, loving and suitable homes for dogs in need.

We believe rescue dogs deserve to be understood as individuals. Wherever possible, our dogs are cared for in a home environment rather than traditional kennels. This allows us to learn about their personalities, behaviour and individual needs before matching them with their new families.

Our aim is not simply to find a dog a home — it is to find them the right home.

Finding the Right Home – Not Just Any Home

At SalliPets, we believe every dog and every family should be considered individually.

Families with children are welcome. Many of the dogs we rehome have previously lived in family homes with children. Where a dog has a suitable temperament, has lived successfully with children and has no known bite history, we are happy to consider families with children.

Living in a flat doesn't automatically prevent you from adopting either. We look at the individual dog's needs and your lifestyle. For some dogs, regular walks, companionship and a loving home are far more important than having a large garden.

We don't believe in automatically rejecting good homes simply because they have children or live in a flat.

Our priority is finding the right home for the right dog.

Opening Hours

We kindly ask that non-emergency calls are made between 9am and 6pm. Appointments to visit the rescue are by prior arrangement only.

Our rescue relies on the kindness and commitment of volunteers. If you can offer your time, skills, transport, fostering support or practical help, we would love to hear from you.

Adopting From SalliPets

Finding the right match is extremely important to us. We want every adoption to work for both the dog and their new family.

An adoption donation helps towards the cost of caring for our rescue dogs, including food, veterinary treatment and other essential expenses.

We offer a 7-day trial period before the adoption contract is finalised, giving the dog and their prospective family time to settle and make sure the match is right.
